Register for the competition
This form is for teachers (UK or International) who have not previously registered their school for the PCTC competition. If your school has entered the competition before, your details will already be held on our mailing list and you do not need to register again.
Those signing-up outside of the main competition season (September – March) will first hear from us when the next annual cycle commences.
Registrations should be made at least one week before this window to ensure sufficient time for the material to be sent to the invigilating teachers.
A supervising teacher does not require any coding expertise to host this competition at their school. All you need to do is sign up to our teacher mailing list, recruit your school teams, encourage practice with the material provided and arrange an invigilation session within the competition window.
The competition is free to enter.
All students must be in Years 7-11 (Scotland P7-S4). International students please use the student’s age on 1 September (for example, age 14 would be in Year 10).
Please note that no personal emails will be added to the approved setting (and therefore will not receive mailings) unless prior contact/consent has been obtained.
UK and International schools are eligible to participate for free in the competition, including certification, however the final Round 2 team prizes/cup are only awarded to UK schools due to the funding intention. By signing up, you confirm you understand this.
If you have any questions about registering or about the competition in general please contact us here.
